Nigeria: What a country

A short piece from a social media user who goes by the name Eno-Abasi Sunday, who seem deeply worried by the way some  Nigerians reason both socially and politically.

Here is what he had to say:

In my country Nigeria, people that had sex on live television (remember Big Brother Naija) after being feted and treated like role models by their state governor, were, the following day, honoured by the monarch of their community.
In my country, a senator, who floored a governor’s plot to recall him from the Senate, was recently arraigned in court on stretcher, by a police force led by an inspector general that does not obey his commander-in-chief’s directive. In my country, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), admitted that it spent only N100 million in the Senator Dino Melaye recall process.
In my country, the Minister for Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, recently said the train fare between Kaduna and Abuja was increased because majority of those using the service are rich.
According to Amaechi, the intention of the president towards the railway was to transport poor people, but the fare had to be increased because rich men were parking their cars and using the train services. I’ve never heard a government anywhere in the world reason this horribly. This is my country Nigeria

Drop your reaction to this!!
