A disheartening video shows Mr Abraham Monwametsi, narrating the traumatic ordeal he suffered while working as a security guard at an undisclosed family’s business. “I pray for God to help me because I don’t ever want to see these people. Because when I do, all the horrible memories come flooding back.”
The attacks started about a month earlier while he was working a night shift. Abraham alleges that, on that dreadful evening he and his employer’s 16 year-old boy were guarding the family’s business premises when, out of the blue, the teenager ordered his dog to attack him.
In another incident the boy forcibly removed Monwametsi’s belt and ordered the dog, to pull the terrified worker’s pants down before commanding it to engage in a sexual act with the helpless man. The day after this gruesome ordeal, Abraham went and told the boy’s father about his traumatic experience thinking the father would take action. To his amazement the father threatened to kill him and dismissed him, saying he was pleased to know that the dog had found a new girlfriend. Sadly, Monwametsi says he kept on going back to work regardless of the attacks because he needed to provide for his family.
It is very disturbing how often times the disadvantaged people are taken advantage of. Yet they endure all the degrading treatment and continue to work for the people that abuse and mistreat them because it is difficult to get a job.
